International Womens Day 2021 was organised with a hybrid program organises physically in ITC Royal Bengal on 7th March, 2021. The programme was jointly organised by Women & Mental Health Specialty Section of IPS and IPS West Bengal State Branch. Among the special diganataries joint the programme were Ms. Indira Mukherjee, IPS, SP, Jhargram, Ms. Ruchira Goswami, Lawyer and Faculty, NUJS, Mrs. Sudeshna Roy, Film Director and Activist.
Our fellow member, Dr Sudarsan Ray, Hon Secretary, IMA Purba Kalikata Branch, West Bengal & Life Fellow, Indian Psychiatric Society became Race Ambassador for Life Savers Run – Global Virtual marathon held on 7th February 2021. Congratulations to Dr. Sudarshan Ray Sensharma for running in IEM-UEM Marathon (after a major abdominal surgery) to show respect to COVID warriors.
